Notice of Vacancy- You are hereby notified that there is a vacancy of the West Suburban Teachers Union, Local 571 Officer, Vice President and Financial Secretary. The term of office for these vacancies will expire June 30, 2028
If you are interested in the position of Local 571 Vice President or Financial Secretary, please place your name in for nomination by requesting and completing the nomination form from Patty Clancy. You must be a member.

To ensure consideration of the nomination, the nomination form must be received by email, mail, or personal delivery to West Suburban Teachers Union in the Westmont Office no later than 3:00 p.m. on September 4, 2026.
The Local 571 Executive Board will select a candidate to fill the interim vacancy at the next regularly scheduled board meeting on September 14, 2026. (This information is also posted on the WSTU Local 571 Website) https://www.wstu571.org. The Vice President term will start on January 1, 2027 and the Financial Secretary term will start effective immediately.
